The carrier operates in the nitrification reaction tank MBBR (as the final stage of the water treatment process to remove the residual water pollutants from the secondary treatment process) with a maximum water treatment capacity of 1260 m3/h, which corresponds to a population of about 50,000.
This sewage treatment plant uses BioChip microbial carrier provided by MUTAG to replace the foam-type carrier which is easy to wear.
The sewage treatment plant has met the relevant discharge water quality requirements since its operation and commissioning in 2010.
